One such post revolved around Broly entering the Dragon Ball canon in 2018, where a fan shared their theory on how they believe the character has a genetic mutation, namely his ki never wears out when in battle.

It is a known Saiyan trait that they grow stronger and stronger each time they fight and become a better version of themselves when they retreat from the gates of death. The fan said:

“My main canon is that Broly has a genetic mutation where his ki keeps increasing in battle. A Saiyan trait gets stronger every time they fight and every time they recover from a near death. Is there any something to do with the biology of a Saiyan that evolved for a long time in order to survive.”

They continued that the stronger Saiyans defeat the weaker ones to pass on their genes,“Somewhere along the way they evolved to increase their ki naturally, outside of training.”However, this is not the case with Broly because he has the same mutation but in “overdrive”.
